How to Cope

When the sensitive part of your child’s tooth is exposed, it becomes more vulnerable to decay and infection, so please contact us immediately! To help with the issue, you can rinse your child’s mouth thoroughly with warm water, and if fragments have broken off, bring them with you to our office.

What to Do

If one of your child’s permanent teeth has been knocked out, contact us right away! Then, try to find and save the tooth and rinse it with warm water. If the tooth is in one piece, try to put it back in its original place and have your child bite on it with a gauze. If not, put the tooth in a cup with some milk.
