- How long is the treatment?
The exact treatment time depends on each patient’s specific needs and treatment goals. Most treatments last approximately from 12 to 30 months.
- Do braces hurt? You should never feel extreme pain while wearing braces, but you may feel mild discomfort when you first get your braces put on and after adjustments. This pain should naturally disappear but, if not, Dr. Kula…Meet our orthodontist… is on standby to provide relief.
- How can I take care of my braces?
Good oral hygiene is always important, so never forget to brush and floss after every meal. Try to avoid hard and sticky foods because they can damage the brackets. Also, make sure you attend all of your orthodontic appointments and follow Dr. Kula’s instructions and recommendations.
- Is there a problem if my kid plays sports while wearing braces?
Not at all! Let your kid be a kid and enjoy the physical activity. You just need to make sure they use a mouthguard when participating in contact sports.
